I for one, am not going in a Southern Railways toilet and get bukkake’d in the process.
Jai Ho!
Nice collection… You could also add a ‘dictionary’ page of ‘Vulcanzing’ (or was it Walcuniseing!) and ‘Puntur/Pucture’ spelled out to suit local lingo.
Here are some new words brewing up:
‘Local Foreigners’ – name given for the great bunch of students coming from other parts of India.
‘Sitta’ – Name for some one with a short temper…
… ACK
Nice !
PS: BDA is not now BBMP, it is the BMP (Bangaluru Mahanagar Palike) which has been converted to BBMP (Bruhat Bangaluru Mahanagar Palike)..
@Amit : Thanks for the spot. It was a Freudian slip on my part ; I got the BDA mixed up with the BCC subconsciously : ‘BDA stinks’ -> garbage -> BCC (Bangalore City Corporation which became the BMP , and now BBMP)
I have a nice collection on my blog (and a physical one, too, collected over many years.)
I enjoyed these a lot.
Pure awesomeness…
I remember seeing a website which displayed signboards in China:
“Trip and fall down carefully” (in a bathroom)
“Trespassers will be shot survivors will be shot again.”
“Welcome to come again.”
“If you are stolen, call the police at once.”
There is this workshop kind of place near KR Puram which calls itself Anus Refractories..
The apostrophe is dead! Long live the apostrophe..
Sadly I don’t have a pic of the same. For those who can get the pic, it’s on the whitefield road that runs from KR Puram Railway station to ITPL.
What about Chilled bear!!!
hi Jai,
Ended up at your blog while on a journey of trying to find some tickling pictures about Bangalore for our portal’s(www.bangaloreservicedapartments.co.in) blog. I just loved the pie you have baked out of the cultural hodge podge harvested from long term Bangaloritis!!!
Fundooo
