About

Though I don’t do it for a living, I’ve been drawing ever since I can remember.

And thanks to the mad friends I hang out with, the sense of humor has (I hope) been suitably tempered over the years. So if you’re interested in art / cartoons / writing / comics about Bangalore / technology, (or secret tips on how to handle autorickshaw drivers) do stop by often. I promise to keep this interesting, and for the most part funny.

And oh, one more thing. For years now, I’ve been sending out SMSes to friends around  funny signboards, whacky news headlines and disgruntled autorickshaw driver messages that I’ve spotted in and around Bangalore. I’ve moved this now to Twitter :

Nice! I was wondering why so many pink chaddis….

Subscribing… There’s this google group for Indian webcomics you might like to join. Introduce your comic, explore others etc.

    Hi J,
Came across your comic in Aahsome. I’m a perspiring businessman, and an aspiring writer.

I’m writing a comicbook novel that is a comic strip thats around 200 pages long.

I’ve written the first 8 chapters online at http://bezdusan.blogspot.com

I am unfortunately not so gifted with the drawing end of things. I’m looking for help, and possibly a motley collaborator….. a philantrophically inclined illustrator
someone who believes in the destruction of mankind through gentle prose, dazzling imagery and sequentially aligned graphically rendered literary reinforcement. Page after Page.

Someone who can share credit with me, and can devote a bit of time to this…

    Cheers,
    Pranay

      Pranay, hi!
I’m a perspiring businessman myself; I draw the occasional comic to cool down 🙂
Can’t spare additional cycles at the moment, sorry. Thanks for asking though. Why don’t you try the forums at http://comixindia.com, there are some really gifted illustrators in there.

Stumbled upon your blog. Its hilarious…I guess it somehow awakened my dormant south indian sensibilities . It also reminded me of the old Bangalore, the way it was 🙂

    Cheers!!
