It sucks big time to be a pig these days, everyone’s avoiding them like the plague.

‘SWINE FLU’ is such a crass term. Doesn’t help them pigs one bit.

As the mad Sabbah suggests, ‘PIGGY SNIFFLES’ is a much better term. No?

After all, pigs are people too , you know.

Worse, the airport has signs reading: “Pigs cannot Fly”. The pigs think this is all just Hogwash.

    har har.

i wouldn’t know about the orchestra, but the 3 little pigs should be thankful about wolves not skulking about the area waiting to blow their houses down.. unless they thought they could huff and puff through a protective mask, but you haven’t heard any stories of dumb wolves now, have you?

what i really would like to see is miss piggy sing us this little number —> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7HYYKEbfLk

Love this one! The humor is bang on as always. But from purely from the perspective of the artwork, this is far superior than your earlier works.

@Ananth : Indeed, total discrimination I say ! Pigs might not be allowed to fly, but the swine flu, eh ? sorry.
@Anjana : Ha ha ! I’d love to know what happened to the network Vice President at the end. PoiTaara ?
@Ratish : Thanks. I am rather proud of the artwork myself. However, the humour hasn’t met with the kind of response I had expected – it’s lukewarm at best.

Brilliant! What lukewarm response..? Let me popularize it a little bit.

You need to put in facebook and twitter posting buttons…

Yup, Saad did it alright… 😉

Good artwork, bro! Plus, great thought! Quite rare, that combo… Keep it up!

    Cheers!

Aww the poor things look boared out of their wits – I can almost see them ask “how now pink sow?” 😐

That’s some artwork, there! And yes, Saad did tweet it (Thanks, Saad!), and someone RT-ed – and that’s how I got here 🙂

Refreshing to see finesse in both, artwork and punch!

@Saad : Thanks for the publicity – I owe you one 🙂 And the tips about Facebook/Twitter link : I’ve been a bit lazy about these social-bookmarking links for a while , quoting a minimalist L&F as an excuse….

Seeee… this pig gig and all is not in avar culchchur! you should put nice peacaaacks, yelifents, deeeer, and like that, *ptchch* you seee? Wolves with asthama, pigs with aarkeshtra, who will understand all this? That is vhy you are having tiped…dipe… de.. TEPID response.

Accaarding to me this cartoon is very very nice and is more better than any another cartoon i have seen in paper geeper and all.

I think you are having a grate feature in cartoonism world.

    You stone!

No, no, young pursun here is telling it should be, “You rock!” Why she is calling you rock is very mysterious.

Okay. You are a very good…

Balaa-saar!! Come come sit sit. Whether you will take any snacks? Take saar, don’t feel shy , think it is your blog only.

Coming to the point, you see, all these young people these days – if I am telling cartoon means they are asking POGO CHANNELa ? What to do ? You only tell off.

The artwork is beautiful. Its a very funny idea. Without the thought bubble, it would be even better, methinks. (you already had swine flu on the newspaper)

    @Sumant :
Agreed. I prefer it minus the bubble myself – if this had been in , say , the New Yorker 🙂
My cartoonist-spider-sense made me put in the word-bubble as a safety-net, to ensure that more people get the joke…

Heh heh, me big fan! Your drawings are excellent! So professional-newspaper-esque!
After your autorickshaw transformer cartoon, more people started searching for the same online, and Google gave out my blog as a result too! That’s how I learned about yours, and then saw the desipundit connection. 🙂
I linked this post to a post of mine too.

Haha! Excellent idea – beautifully drawn.

I’m a cartoonist as well, with a single panel strip. I’m very new to the world of blogging, but would appreciate it if you had a look at my stuff….
